Thermometrics Battery Pack Temperature Sensor is a ring terminal temperature sensor that measures surface temperature. It is important to monitor the temperature on hybrid batteries for overcharging protection, as well as to optimize battery performance.

Thermometrics Evaporator Temperature Sensor is used to measure evaporator core temperature. An evaporator cools the refrigerant in the HVAC system. Since the evaporator core operates at temperatures very close to 0°C, it is important to have an accurate and robust thermistor to measure its temperature to prevent the core from freezing.

Thermometrics GE-1856 Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) monitors the temperature of the incoming intake air for an engine and provides a signal output that is proportional to air temperature. This signal can be used as an input to provide a signal to an Engine Control Unit (ECU), which uses this information to adjust fuel delivery and optimize the air-to-fuel ratio to produce the most efficient combustion. GE-1856 is also suitable for air duct temperature measurement in non-condensing HVAC applications.

Thermometrics A990 Series of Interchangeable NTC Thermistor Sub-assemblies consist of matched pairs of small, glass encapsulated thermistor beads which are connected in either series or parallel circuit configurations. The goal is to relay an over-temperature engine temperature to the driver, so that the vehicle can be stopped and the engine switched off before the heat causes any permanent damage to the engine.
