The NovaSensor NPI-15VC Series of voltage-compensated, media-isolated High Pressure Sensors offers the performance of our current-compensated sensors with the convenience of using a voltage supply. They are designed to operate in hostile environments and yet give the outstanding sensitivity, linearity, and hysteresis of a silicon sensor.

NovaSensor NPB 102 is an absolute pressure sensor with digital output for low power consumption and wide operating temperature range applications. Digital compensation of the signal offset, sensitivity, and non-linearity is accomplished via 26-bit internal digital signal processor (DSP) running a correction algorithm. Calibration coefficients are stored on-chip in highly reliable, nonvolatile, multi-time programmable (MTP) memory. It is available in two standard pressure ranges with custom pressure ranges available upon request.

The NovaSensor P2705 Miniature Low Pressure Sensor Die utilizes four piezoresistors combined in a Wheatstone bridge circuit. When excited by constant voltage, the P2705 die produces a differential millivolt output signal directly proportional to the applied pressure. Available as gage, the P2705 sensor die also features high sensitivity, excellent overload capability, and small temperature hysteresis over a wide temperature range.

NovaSensor P165 Medical Silicon Absolute Pressure Sensor Die is a piezoresistive pressure sensor die offered in a miniature 1150 x 675 mm die that is small enough for three French catheters. The small size is made possible by NovaSensor’s proprietary Silicon Fusion Bonding (SFB) process. When excited with an AC or DC voltage source, the P165 produces a mV output that is proportional to input pressure. NovaSensor P165 is in a halfbridge design, where external resistors are needed to complete a full bridge configuration.

The NovaSensor P562 Medical Silicon Pressure Die is a piezoresistive pressure sensor that is specifically designed for medical applications. Low linearity errors, low input and low output impedance make the P562 and industry standard for disposable pressure sensor die.

NovaSensor P122 High Silicon Pressure Sensor Die are piezoresistive pressure sensors offered in a miniature 0.10 in x 0.10 in (2.5mm x 2.5 mm) die. When excited with 1.0 mA,the P122 produces a millivolt output that is proportional to input pressure. NovaSensor P1301 Low Pressure Silicon Pressure Sensor Die is a piezoresistive sensing element measuring 2.7mm x3.2mm (0.11in x 0.13in). When excited with constant voltage or constant current, it produces a milliVolt output proportional to input pressure. The die can be used in differential and gauge pressure sensors.

The NovaSensor P1602 Pressure Sensor Die is a piezoresistive pressure sensor offered in a miniature die. When excited with 1 mA constant current, the P1602 produces a millivolt output that is proportional to input pressure. The P1602 is available as an absolute pressure sensor, where the applied pressure is referenced to an internal vacuum-sealed within the die.

The NovaSensor PT1907 is a piezoresistive sensor die that is designed for combined pressure and temperature measurements in harsh media. Pressure is applied from the backside of the die, which eliminates direct contact between the topside of the sensor circuitry and the applied media. This allows PT1907 to measure pressure and temperature in aggressive liquids and gases.
