Amphenol’s new Auto Defog Sensor (ADS) integrates Relative Humidity, Ambient Temperature and Glass temperature sensor into one compact package.

ADS provides a windshield surface temperature, cabin air temperature and relative humidity data to an automatic climate control system. ADS can detect windshield fogging before it occurs and send a signal to automatically prevent the windshield from fogging. Amphenol’s new ADS (Auto Defog Sensor) uses the dew point of the windshield glass to predict a fogging condition and it allows a more accurate and faster response time.
